The Caravan of Artists and Youth against AIDS, conducted in 2000
in Haiti, was an initiative by various governmental, non-governmental
and international organisations. The Caravan used a communication
mechanism which is culturally adapted to young people, entertainment,
to promote less risky sexual behaviour and to create a social
environment which appreciates protected intercourse, mutual faithfulness
and the acceptance of people living with HIV/AIDS. (2000)
